EASTER BASKET ROUND UP

The children that come to the Samaritan Center get so excited about Easter.  They think the Easter bunny is bringing them a basket too just like their friends.  However this is something that their parents must forgo due to lack of money.  It’s hard for our families to cover their essential needs and often can’t even meet those obligations – that’s why they come to us for food, clothing, etc.  We also try to remember these little things that help their children feel like they too are deserving of the Easter bunny’s treats. 

• When         Beginning first day of the month of Easter
   

• Who:          For the children of our clients from 3 to 12 years of age. 
   

• What:         Mothers Day gift basket
   

• Where:       Deliver to the Samaritan Center (side door) between 8:30 a.m. - 12:30p.m. and 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
   

• Why:          So the children of our clients will have an Easter basket

Basket Specifications

1.      Please be sure all candy in the basket is wrapped.

2.      Don’t place any perishable food such as hard-boiled eggs in basket.

3.      The basket must be wrapped in cellophane or plastic to keep contents from falling out.

4.      Please have baskets here by first day of the month that Easter falls in to start distributing that day.
