Volunteers needed for food drive

Samaritan Center needs volunteers for the Boy Scout Food Drive at 10 a.m. March 7.

Work will continue as long as Scouts bring in food items. Usually the work ends around 2 p.m.

People are needed to help direct traffic, unload vehicles, take donations out of bags, sort, count, weigh and shelve. There are jobs for persons of all physical abilities and ages. Children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult.

There are two shifts; 10 a.m.-noon and noon-2 p.m. A lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers is provided with soft drinks.
